PaintTab was built from real experience in the field.

Our journey started with a family painting business backed by over 25 years of hands-on experience in the industry. Like many painting contractors, we faced a major challenge — the estimating process was slow, manual, and inefficient.

We would visit a customer’s home, go back to the office, create the proposal, print it, and then send or deliver it. This outdated workflow delayed our response time, wasted valuable hours, and sometimes even cost us jobs.

We knew there had to be a better way.

To solve this problem, we built our own internal estimating system.

At first, it was simple. But over the next eight years, we continuously improved it by refining pricing formulas, automating calculations, simplifying proposal templates, and optimizing every detail based on real job experience.

This was not built in theory. It was developed in the field, tested on real projects, and improved job after job.

The Breakthrough

After years of refinement, everything changed.

We were able to send complete, professional proposals within minutes of leaving a customer’s home.
